    • Pharmacy
    • Nursing
    • Medical
    • Allied Health

It is recommended that a single subscription be shared by all healthcare programs within your college or university. If a single subscription is not the best option for your institution, a separate subscription can be set up for each school (pharmacy, nursing, etc.).

Find out if your school is eligible to participate in the Micromedex Academic Program.

We do not currently offer individual online subscriptions for students. However, students can request the Micromedex Academic Program through their reference librarian, dean, or a faculty member. Simply refer them to this site or give them this brochure to learn more about the Academic Program.

Customers outside the U.S. and Canada, please contact your local distributor for information on academic programs that may be available in your country.

ACCESS OPTIONS

Because not all schools have the same needs or technological capabilities, there are several options for providing your eligible students and faculty with access to our Micromedex solutions:

    • IP authentication for access on campus, including labs and libraries
    • School reference site/source (e.g., a proxy server) for remote access

Once your subscription is set up, you will be provided with a URL for the Micromedex 2.0 clinical content. Then you can create links to this electronic resource from your reference library Web site or other sources within your institution such as simulation lab computers.

Training and Communication Support Resources

Once your school is enrolled in the Micromedex Academic Program, we offer training and communication support resources to help you integrate our clinical knowledge solutions into your healthcare curriculum and get the word out to students.

The training resources help instructors become more familiar with our clinical evidence solutions and learn how these tools can be incorporated into the classroom. Communication materials include flyers and email templates to promote availability to students and faculty.
