How to download mobileMicromedex [previously named Thomson Clinical Xpert mobile] FREE to your PDA…

Your hospital or healthcare facility must have a current subscription to Micromedex® 1.0 (Healthcare Series) or Micromedex® 2.0 to be able to download mobileMicromedex to your PDA device.

FIND YOUR CUSTOMER NUMBER

Access Micromedex (1.0 or 2.0) through your hospital's computer system (see examples below).

Micromedex 1.0 customers:

1. Click the Handheld PDA link from any screen (top right tab)



Micromedex® 1.0 (Healthcare Series)

2. Scroll to the Palm OS or PocketPC section (near the bottom of the page).
3. The screen above shows the web address (URL) and Customer Number required to download your free subscription of mobileMicromedex. Please make note of these before proceeding.

Micromedex 2.0 customers:

1. Click the MOBILE link from any screen (top of page)



If your Micromedex (1.0 or 2.0) home page looks different from the ones shown above (shows text only), click here for special instructions.

2. Scroll to the Palm OS or PocketPC section (near the bottom of the page).
3. The screen above shows the web address (URL) and Customer Number required to download your free subscription of mobileMicromedex. Please make note of these before proceeding.

If the computer you are using has an Internet connection and your PDA's cradle attached, you may click the web link provided. If not, move to a computer with an Internet connetion and your PDA cradle. This may be at your home or office. Then, type the web address into the web browser.

GO TO THE DOWNLOAD SITE

4. The mobileMicromedex Account Management web page will appear (example shown below). Enter your Customer Number into the box where indicated.



5. You will be guided through the registration process. Answer a few simple questions and you will be on your way to your mobileMicromedex download.
