As part of our ongoing efforts to facilitate simple and efficient mobile strategies for our customers, The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters has initiated a handheld device certification program.
Both Clinical Xpert Navigator (formerly MercuryMD MData) and Charge Capture work with devices and smartphones that use the Palm, PocketPC/Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry operating systems.
BlackBerry requires that your healthcare system use Research In Motion's BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) – not all Navigator customers have this option so individual end-users should check with their IT departments BEFORE purchasing a new device.
Certification does not guarantee device performance, just that the data reliably works on the device. Please be sure to check with your healthcare system's Information Technology support before purchasing a device to make sure the device is compatible with local communication mediums.
Mobile Micromedex certification is based on device specifications and has not been tested with all devices that are listed as compatible. If you have questions about a device before you purchase please contact our technical support group.
For each device, you may read more information under the Device Specs link.
