DRUG INTERACTIONS

Welcome to the Drug Interactions module. When you click the Drug Interactions link on the Micromedex^® Healthcare Series home page, you access the DRUG-REAX^® System. You will use this system to interactively determine the possible interactions for a drug profile you define for a patient.

Results are returned in a ranked order by severity within each interaction type. Interaction types include:

• Drug/Drug
• Drug/Food
• Drug/Ethanol
• Drug/Tobacco

Severity, documentation, and length until onset of the interaction, are listed. Links to additional interaction data are also available from the interaction results page.
