IV COMPATIBILITY

Welcome to the IV Compatibility module. When you click the IV Compatibility link on the Micromedex^® Healthcare Series home page, you access the IV INDEX^® System with Trissel's Tables. You will use this system to interactively determine the compatibility of a patient's IV medications.

The IV INDEX System provides:

• Over 35,000 test results for two-drug combinations in three different infusion solutions specifically for Y-site application of 145 commonly used parenteral medications
• Data on syringe and solution compatibility
• Physical compatibility test results for precipitation, turbidity, gas formation, and color change
